HILL COLLEGE RETURNS PUBLIC

Posted April 9, 2025

Hill College is pleased to announce that our official website and social media platforms have been restored to full public access. We thank our community for their patience and ongoing support during this transition period.

In response to recent clarification from GSG and the overwhelmingly positive support we’ve received from our community, we have made the decision to remain publicly accessible and continue sharing our journey openly.

As we reopen our platforms, we would like to reaffirm that Hill College is a fully independent, student-led initiative. While many of our contributors are members of the Great Southern Grammar (GSG) community, Hill College is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Great Southern Grammar. All content published by Hill College is developed and managed independently by our student team.

In line with this independence and to ensure clarity, we have undertaken a careful review of our digital content. As part of this process:

  • We have archived certain social media posts to ensure our content aligns with Hill College’s current direction and values.

  • All images containing GSG branding have been removed from both our website and social media channels.

  • We have implanted temporary replacement images in affected areas of our platforms, and are actively working with our community to update this content in a meaningful and collaborative way.

  • We will also be reviewing and updating our policies, including our Privacy Policy and Social Media Policy, to ensure they reflect our recent changes and our commitment to responsible, transparent engagement.

We would additionally like to remind our community that Hill College is not a registered or formal educational institution. It is a student-lead concept created to demonstrate a connected, supportive, and innovative community. Any content shared through our website, social media, or published resources is intended for engagement and inspiration only, and should not be interpreted as official information or services provided by a legitimate school or education authority.

In the months ahead, we look forward to refreshing our visual presence. We will be hosting photoshoots and events in Term 2, an encourage members of our community to take part in these exciting opportunities to help shape the next chapter of Hill College.

We remain deeply committed to our mission of fostering student learning, leadership, and connection. Thank you for being part of our journey.
